May you enjoy your warm and snowless Christmas,
as many of us are in the knowledge of what comes nest!

As an old song goes, “In the bleak midwinter, frosty winds to blow. Earth is cold as I am, snow on snow…” I have always loved painting winter scenes. They frequently are a difficult genre to market. Nevertheless, there is something about the low angle of the sun and the shadows cast in snow that is magical. Stay warm and toasty, Pat. I am always eager to see and read what you send out.

    Hi Pat,
Count me among those who are happy for less snow! I love to look at it when it first falls but getting around…not so much. Your picutres are lovely, as usual. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Happy Winter solstice, longer days are coming:).

As always, I love your blog. Your snow picture is just lovely and evocative of the special beauty that winter snows can bring. I hope you have had the best of holidays! Thanks for your inspiring blog!
